Meet the founder
Duncan Macrae founded Motark Enterprise in 2016.
Thirty-eight years an entrepreneur across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. Recognised herpetologist — a species of monitor lizard, Varanus macraei(the blue-spotted tree monitor), was formally described in 2001 and named in his honour. The classifier's eye behind that naming is the same one now behind Motark's insistence on species-level identity in every extract it supplies.
Every plant Motark works with — Tongkat Ali, kanna, Bacopa, moringa, kava — came from a specific place in Duncan's own life, not a marketing brief. The business is the through-line, not the departure.
